What does Verified mean?
The Verified badge means the shop has an approved claim and an active business account: the owner claimed the page, we checked their proof and approved it, and their account is still active. It isn’t paid for, and it doesn’t mean we’ve reviewed the food.
A badge you can trust
When you see Verified on a shop:
- The owner has claimed the page with a business account
- We have checked their proof and approved the claim
- Their business account is still active
Shops without the badge haven’t been claimed yet. That doesn’t mean anything is wrong with them.

How to get verified
- Create a business accountSign up in the business portal and confirm your email address.
- Claim your shopClaim your existing shop page, or register a new shop. Tell us your role and send a photo or PDF that shows you run the business.
- We approve the claimOur team checks your proof. This usually takes 3 to 5 working days.
- The Verified badge appearsOnce the claim is approved, your shop shows the Verified badge on its page and on cards for as long as your business account stays active.
